Why Project Revive?

We believe
1. Every learner is unique and deserves a learning environment where their natural intelligence is constantly challenged and other intelligences are given judicious exposure to grow.
2. Holistic education and realising one's true potential is possible only when a learner is given exposure to all nine intelligence equally.

How are we doing this?

Project Revive is inspired mainly through Multiple Intelligence theory and the possibility of Data Analysis. The Multiple Intelligence Theory states that human intelligence is a collection of nine discrete intellectual capabilities, namely Logical-Mathematical, Linguistic, Visual-Spatial, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Naturalisitc, Musical, Existential and Bodily-Kinesthetic.
Each individual is blessed with these intelligence at varying levels which is one of the fundamental reasons why all of us are unique. The idea of a learning system was to improvise these intelligence and sharpen them to enhace and create meaningful constributions into the world. But it so happened that from the late 18th century when the demand for the crowd of Logical-maths and Linguistic manpower increased because of industries and offices, schools or educational spaces slowly began transforming into spaces where these intelligences are given uneven exposure over the other seven, so naturally over years the other seven intelligences began dropping out or occupying the back seats and eventually becoming optional.
Revive is here to revive the glory of learning spaces by quanitfying these exposures to make it accountable.

What is Revive?

All teaching pedagogies in one way or the other provide exposure to one or more intelligence in the classroom. Be it a read aloud lesson or an activity filled lesson would be invoking different intelligences and providing set of different exposure to the learners.
This is particularly ture in a Teach for India classroom where the fellow uses multiple mediums to convey the message. This provides children with different sets of intellectual capabilites to understand and make sense of the events around them. Using the possibility of this exposure and Data analysis we want to create a reflective platform for interested fellows to jot down their lesson practices.
Based on the inputs we would be able to generate a report of various intelligence exposure provided in the classroom, which can help in making actionable shifts in the classroom. Based on these results a fellow could consciously work or group kids based on their interest.
In a way this would be a data driven backing of the insights most of the educators have about the interest of their child in the classroom.
